History
Pan Tech Corporation was founded in Houston, Texas in 1959 as a manufacturer’s representative for industrial instrumentation. Initially focused on serving companies in the Texas Gulf Coast region, Pan Tech quickly became a technical resource for industries including petrochemical, oil refining, power generation, pulp / paper, oil and gas transmission, and upstream production end users as well as the related engineering contractors who specialize in these fields.
Building upon its initial success in the Houston, Beaumont and Corpus Christi industrial corridor, Pan Tech expanded its operations in the early 1970s to include sales offices throughout the southern half of Texas. As the company continued to grow, Pan Tech moved into a new corporate headquarters facility located in the Houston suburb of Sugar Land in 1983.
This customized facility was designed to include office, conference, warehouse and shop areas optimized to meet the unique needs of our company and still serves as our headquarters today.
In 1991, Pan Tech expanded into the Louisiana market with the establishment of an office in Baton Rouge. From this location we service customers throughout Louisiana as well as portions of Arkansas and Mississippi. In 2012, our company continued to expand operations with the addition of an office in Mobile, Alabama. This office serves customers throughout Alabama as well as portions of Mississippi and northwest Florida.
Over the years, Pan Tech has diversified our product mix to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Today we offer products in three main areas: process & compliance analysis, control & measurement technologies and uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS). As the Gulf Coast region continues to be a key global center for a variety of industrial businesses, Pan Tech pledges to continue meeting the changing needs of our customers. Building upon our technical acumen, market contacts and unsurpassed experience, we will continue to seek new opportunities to increase market share and better serve our customers.
