Bill Long

Account Manager

Bill Long joined Pan Tech Corporation in 2012 and serves as the Branch Manager of the company’s Alabama office located in Mobile.

Prior to joining Pan Tech, Bill gained more than 30 years of invaluable experience in many aspects of the industry. He worked as a chemist in the quality control department of Ciba-Geigy and in a similar capacity at Kay Fries/Dyanimate Nobel Chemical. He served as a regional laboratory products sales specialist at Curtin Matheson Scientific for 10 years – and has also held various sales positions at companies including Fisher Scientific, AWC, Inc. and LabLink Scientific Supply.

Bill graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1979, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Business Administration.

Bill has been happily married to his wife, Anne Marie, for 32 years and they have two children, Bryan and Ashlyn. He is proud to note that Bryan graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management – and Ashlyn is currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of South Alabama.
